Stockton Kicks Off City-Wide Cleanup Week, April 27–May 1
The City of Stockton is making spring cleaning easier this year. The annual city-wide cleanup — available to all residents within city limits — takes place the week of April 27 through May 1. Trash will be collected on each resident’s regularly scheduled pickup day, with additional city trucks running the same routes to haul away larger items, including furniture, tree branches, appliances (note: Freon must be drained from refrigerators prior to pickup), yard waste, and tires (limit of five per household).
However, the City is unable to collect certain materials. Items not accepted include household hazardous waste such as paint, insecticides, and herbicides, as well as batteries, oil and oil containers, fuel and fuel containers, liquid waste, and computers. Residents are asked to dispose of these items through appropriate channels.
To ensure our teams can serve you on time, simply have your items neatly ready at your pickup spot by 8:00 a.m. on your collection day. Thank you for making Stockton wonderful!
