Troy Joe Anderson, 62, passed away on Monday, September 16, 2024, in Agra, Kansas.
Troy was born on November 26, 1961, in Red Cloud, Nebraska, the son of Billy J. Anderson and Patricia A. (Hill) Novotny. He was a self-employed certified welder and painter.
He was preceded in death by his father, Billy J. Anderson; a brother, Todd T. Anderson; and stepfather, Daryl Novotny.
Troy is survived by his three children, Tiffany Ann Garcia and her three children, Bryson Stapelton, Zayden, and Ethen Hemphill, all of Wichita, Kansas, Troy Joe Anderson Jr. and his two children, Cylas Troy and Reighny Elaine, all of Great Bend, Kansas, and Joshua Anderson of Great Bend, Kansas; a stepson, Kendal Putman of Katy, Texas; his mother, Patty Anderson-Novotny of Phillipsburg, Kansas; brother, Travis (Cheryl) Anderson of Agra, Kansas; sister, Tamatha (Jerud) Schurr of Phillipsburg, Kansas.
Funeral services were held at 4 p.m. Friday, September 20, 2024, at All Faiths Funeral Chapel, Smith Center, Kansas. Burial was in Pleasant View Cemetery, Athol.
Memorials may be given to the Troy Joe Anderson Memorial Fund and sent in care of the funeral chapel.
