Ruth Nadine (Ives) Fenton
A Mermorial Service for Ruth Nadine (Ives) Fenton, age 87, Stockton, will be held on Saturday, May 25, at 11:00 a.m., at the Stockton Cemetery.
Ruth passed away on February 19, 2024. She was born on August 27, 1936, to Harold and Hilma (Fisher) Ives.
Ruth married her high school sweetheart, Raleigh Earl Fenton on October 6, 1957. Ruth and Raleigh celebrated 67 years of life together on their farm east of Stockton.
She is survived by her husband, Raleigh of the home; a daughter, Kathy (Jim) Glover of Larned; sister, Dixie Rose of Wagoner, Okla.; brother-in-law Donnie Keeten of Glade; granddaughters Jamie (Adam) Balthazor and Jessica Johnston, all of Stockton, and Kaitton and Mattie Glover of Larned; grandson Ashton of Burdett as well as Amber (Michael) Gray and kids and Lacey Lyne and son of Sterling; and five great-grandchildren.
She requested no funeral. Following the Memorial Service, family and friends are invited to a come-and-go luncheon at the Stockton Senior Center.
Memorials are suggested to the First Christian Church of Logan, where Troy Buss serves as pastor. Ruth taught Sunday School to Pastor Troy Buss who pastors the church in Logan. Memorials can be sent in care of Plumer-Overlease Funeral Home, at 723 North First Street, Stockton, KS 67669.
