Christmas in Alton to be held on Saturday, Dec. 2
Alton PRIDE will be hosting Christmas in Alton on Saturday, December 2. The 22nd annual Chocolate Festival will kick off the event at 3:00 p.m. with a baking contest at the Front Porch. In addition to the baking contest, there will be bingo, drawings, a bake sale, bake walk and more!
From 4:00 - 5:00 p.m. Mt. Ayr Friends Church will be sponsoring games and youth activities for ages 5-18 at the Alton Firehouse.
An American Legion Soup Supper will be held at Harding Hall from 5:00 7:00 p.m., with a suggested donation of $7 per person.
There will be Christmas Carols at town center at 6:00 p.m., with the Christmas Lighting Ceremony, followed by Santa’s arrival, at 6:15 p.m. at the Alton Firehouse. There will also be an opportunity to get your picture taken with Santa, and drawings will be held.
The Craft Basket will be open during the ceremonies, and there will be a special mailbox for kids to mail their letters to Santa at the North Pole!
You won’t want to miss out on this fun event, which can’t help but put you in the Christmas spirit!
