Correction

They say a picture is worth a thousand words. In this case, if you look close enough, it at least gives you the correct information… unlike its caption.

It is only fitting the students at the top of their class make the front page of the newspaper…and that is exactly what happened in last week’s issue. Three 2023 Stockton High School graduates, Delanee Bedore, Cappi Hoeting and Addie Struckhoff, were indeed on the front page, however, we mistakenly identified them as Salutatorians, not the Valedictorians that they are. Although we knew better, the error was already in print before it was noticed, thus the necessary correction. Tierra Yohon, the class Salutatorian, was also incorrectly identified as the Valedictorian elsewhere in the paper. Hopefully when May rolls around next year, we will be extra careful and not make the blunder again. Delanee, Cappi, Addie and Tierra…we apologize.
