Rooks County Landfill Spring Clean-Up next Sat., April 29th

The Rooks County Landfill Spring Clean-Up is set for next Saturday, April 29th, from 8:00 a.m. to 3:30 p.m. Waste items will be accepted free of charge that day. Please look at the ad in this week’s issue for what will be accepted and how it should be separated.

Tires will be accepted and charged as follows: $1.00 per car tire, $5.00 per truck tire—19”, and $10.00 per tractor tire—30”.

The landfill anticipates a large crowd for the clean-up event. Your assistance will make the operation flow more smoothly if the recyclable items and the items listed in the ad are presorted.
