Body Mr. Brayden Ray Wise was pretty excited to meet his mommy and daddy, Megan and Riley Wise, so much so that he arrived on Sunday, February 16th, at 9:35 p.m. instead of waiting until his scheduled due date of Monday, March 31st.

Body The Dane G. Hansen Foundation of Logan, Kansas, has named 228 high school seniors from 43 Northwest Kansas schools as winners in its 50th annual scholarship competition. Eight of those winners are from Rooks County.

Body All of the Stockton Junior High music students should be very proud of the high marks they brought home for their performances at the PTL Music Festival held in Lucas on Monday, March 3rd. Everyone received a I+ or I Rating.

Body An all-time event-high 29 teams from Rooks County schools competed last Wednesday, February 26, at the annual Rooks County Youth Entrepreneurship Challenge, held this year at Stockton High School. The teams consisted of 49 students from grades 7-12.
