It’s that magical time of the year with the kick off of the holiday season with Stockton's Olde Tyme Christmas this Friday, November 28th!

Make plans to take in all the excitement and events throughout the day, starting with the Stockton Fire Department Pancake Feed at Stockton City Hall from 11:00 a.m. to 1:00 p.m.

During the afternoon, the Nova Theatre will host the FREE movie, “The Polar Express' at 3:00 p.m., with a variety of vendors selling their wares at Stockton City Hall starting at 3:30 p.m. Main Street businesses will also be open to get in some of your local Christmas shopping.

Then, at 5:30 p.m., the Main Street Parade will take place, and each year it gets bigger and better than ever! And you can bet many of the floats will be fashioned after this year's theme, 'Santa's Workshop.' After the Parade, visit Santa at Printer's Park, so have your list ready! Hope you were all nice this year!

From 5:00 p.m. to 7:00 p.m., let the SHS Junior Class Soup Supper at City Hall be your destination for your evening meal. Enjoy a warm bowl of soup while visiting with your family and friends!

And they are back! The Sunflower Clydesdale Carriage Rides will be held from 6:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. Enjoy a FREE RIDE, with these beautiful animals decked out in jingle bells, courtesy of Solutions North Bank! Also, from 6:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m., warm up with a free hot chocolate and a cookie at the Stockton Senior Center!

At 8:00 p.m., head back to City Hall for the Prize Giveaway Drawing for a chance to win some great prizes and gifts!

Then, to end the evening with some fun and entertainment for everyone, enjoy the live music of The Dominos starting after the drawings, at approximately 8:30 p.m. to 10:00 p.m. at City Hall. The dance is FREE and is sponsored by Jones Oil Company, Inc.

There will be many other contests, raffles, and fun events throughout the day, so don't miss out on any of it!
