Commodity distribution set for Stockton & Plainville

There will be a government surplus commodities distribution in Stockton Friday, January 31st, from 1:00 to 2:00 p.m., at the Stockton VFW (please enter through the front door at 314 Main Street). Call 785-476-5434 with any questions.

There will be a government surplus commodities distribution on Wednesday, January 29th from 12:00 to 1:00 p.m. at the Plainville Senior Center, 108 S. Jefferson, for those who qualify from the Plainville, Zurich and Codell areas.

To be eligible for commodities, your household’s total monthly income must be below: $1,354 for a household of one; $1,832, two; $2,311, three; $2,790, four; $3,269, five; $3,748, six; $4,227, seven; and $4,705, eight. For each additional family member, add $479, effective May 1, 2019.
