Five charges were filed Tuesday, June 23, against Jeremy M. Green of Stockton following a traffic stop on Friday, May 26. He was cited for Failing To Maintain a Single Lane of Traffic on Highway 183 at Q Road, approximately seven miles north of Plainville.

All but one of the accidents making up this week’s reports from the Rooks County Sheriff’s Department accounted for deer running into the roadway. The other accidents include a rollover which begins this week’s offering.

This week’s report of accidents from the Rooks County Sheriff’s Department were a mixed bag. Along with the usual deer entering the roadways, there were multiple rollovers, and lug nuts coming loose from a tractor trailer and striking an oncoming vehicle. While some did result in injuries, it could have been much, much worse.
