Body On Friday last week, the Kansas Department of Health and Environment (KDHE), in conjunction with the Kansas Department of Wildlife, Parks and Tourism (KDWPT), updated its list of public health advisories for Kansas lakes due to blue-green algae.

Tax collections $40.2 million above estimates

Body Governor Laura Kelly announced that in its second month of Fiscal Year 2021, the State of Kansas continued to see total tax collections performing above estimates. Total tax collections for August were $543.5 million. That is $40.2 million, or 8.0%, more than the estimate.
