Winklepleck receives Wilbur Hartzler Scholarship

The 2021-2022 recipient of the Wilbur Hartzler Scholarship is Logan Winklepleck, a Stockton High School graduate. Logan is a freshman at Fort Hays State University majoring in Biology.

The Wilbur Hartzler Scholarship was established in 2005. Scholarship recipients are Rooks County graduates with a minimum 3.0 grade point average on a 4.0 scale. The scholarship will pay $1,000 for the academic year.

Wilbur Hartzler was a teacher and businessman for 25 years in the Natoma and Woodston areas. He was a devoted father and husband to Pauline Carlson Hartzler, who raised four children: Duane, Darrell, Everett and Shirley.
