Swing Into Summer Festival CAR SHOW next weekend!
June 17th and 18th
Stockton Rodders, Inc. are proud to announce that the 12th annual Swing Into Summer Car Show will be held next Friday, June 17th and Saturday, June 18th. So start up your engines for two big days of fun with lots of activities planned that you won’t want to miss. Here’s the rundown….
On Friday, June 17th, the ever-popular Cruise Night will begin and will be held from 6:00 p.m. to 10:00 p.m. Main Street will be lined with food vendors and school groups selling their wares and delicious snacks. So bring your lawn chairs, find a nice spot and enjoy the evening of checking out lots of fabulous cars, motorcycles and trucks that will be cruising Main, while you visit with friends and family and buy a few snacks to eat! (And cruisers, please remember to follow the traffic rules. Use your turn signals, stay within the speed limit, watch for pedestrians, etc.)
On Saturday, June 18th, Registration of the vehicles for the Car Show will begin at 8:00 a.m. at the Stockton City Park with dash plaques and goody bags for the entrants.
Throughout the day enjoy the Bounce Houses that will be set up at the park, as well as try your luck at Chicken Bingo and the raffles. Great rock ‘n roll music will be playing as you enjoy your walk under the canopy of shade trees in the park where the cool cars, “rad” motorcycles, and “tuff” trucks will be lined up. And let’s not forget the many vendors who will be out and about selling their unique merchandise and all sorts of food as another added attraction to this fun weekend!
At 3:00 p.m. the awards will be announced for the Cruise Night and the Car Show winners! There’s a lot to see and do, so make plans to attend this special summer-time treat! Don’t miss out on a single minute!
