One of Plainville’s favorite summer traditions is back. The annual Paradise Creek Festival & Rodeo returns June 12–14, bringing together residents, visitors, families, and friends for a full weekend of entertainment, competition, food, music, and community celebration.

Anchoring the weekend is the two-night Plainville Saddle Club Rodeo, taking place Friday and Saturday evenings on June 12-13 at the rodeo grounds east of town. For generations, the rodeo has been a highlight of the festival and a tradition that continues to bring families together year after year. Concessions are provided each night.

The festival weekend will feature activities for all ages, including the new crowd-favorite Minnow Races, a Cornhole Tournament and Pickleball Tournament, along with a scavenger hunt, kids’ activities, face painting, a Touch A-Truck event, and the annual parade through downtown Plainville on Saturday morning. This year’s parade theme of “Red, White, & Plainville” is a nod to the 250th celebration of our nation.

Live entertain- ment will also be a major part of the festival weekend. Country artist Logan Mize will perform at the Handle-Bar Tavern & Eatery on Friday night at 9:30pm, while Saturday evening concludes with a free street dance featuring local band REPRISE in Downtown Plainville from 9pm-12am. Attendees are encouraged to bring their own chair to the street dance. A beer garden will be provided by Downtown Plainville, Inc., with proceeds going to the Yard project downtown.

Visitors can enjoy a variety of food and drink vendors, browse retail and craft vendors, and explore the local businesses that make Downtown Plainville unique. Festival organizers encourage families to make a weekend of it. The Paradise Creek Festival & Rodeo continues to be a tradition that brings generations together while showcasing the spirit, hospitality, and pride of Plainville.

The full schedule of events is available on the Paradise Creek Festival page on Facebook or visit www.ParadiseCreek-Fest.com for full details, updates, and additional information.
