Sponsor a Tiger for Sept. 16 Homecoming Issue

The September 16th Sentinel will include our annual Homecoming Feature, with individual pictures of the Tiger athletes (football, volleyball and cross country), coaching staff, Cheer and Dance sponsored by local merchants, organizations, and individuals.

The Sentinel would like everyone to have a sponsor, but because participation numbers are up, we will need a total of 68 sponsors, up 12 from last year. For many years we used to only recognize the Football, Cheer and Senior participants in Dance, Volleyball and Cross Country, but we had people ask if we could expand it to also include individual ads for Volleyball, Dance and Cross Country.

With participation numbers down the past few years we have been able to do that, but, fortunately, our numbers are climbing, so your help is needed. If we are not able to get enough sponsors, the Football, Cheer, and Senior participants in Dance, Volleyball and Cross Country, will have individual ads with sponsors, and the remainder of the participants will be recognized with a picture only.

If you, or your group or business would like to sponsor a Homecoming student or staff person, please call the Sentinel office at 425-6354 as soon as possible.

We want to make sure everybody has an opportunity to be a sponsor and show support for our teams.

The 2021 SHS Homecoming is set for Friday, September 17.
