Johnny Hamel wins MCL Cross Country Meet at Phillipsburg

TIGER SOPHOMORE JOHNNY HAMEL is the Mid-Continent League Cross Country Champion, running the 5K course at the Phillipsburg Golf Club on Thursday in a time of 18:23. Hamel beat the second-place finisher by 25 seconds. Others from Rooks County placing in the Top 10 were Michael Garvert and Cameron Lindsey from Plainville, who finished fifth and seventh respectively.
