Tiger senior Rylan Basart earned himself two individual gold medals last Tuesday at Plainville, winning both the Javelin and Shot Put. His throw of 179- 02 in the Javelin, which was nearly 30 feet further than the second-place finisher, was a PR for Basart.

With a toss of 132-08, Kaelyn Means, a junior at Stockton, broke her own Discus record, garnering herself another gold medal in the event. She outdistanced the second-place finisher, Emma Rudman of Plainville, by over six feet.

Although Basart and Means were the only Tigers bringing home gold medals, several SRs and PRs were accomplished on the chilly and windy day, with the Lady Tigers finishing fourth as a team, and the boys coming in seventh. The Norton girls and boys both won the meet.
