Virgi’s Views On This ‘n That
THIS AND THAT
* My family always laughs at this when we read it online.….“I had this delicious omelet this morning. I seasoned the eggs with sugar, oil and chocolate and threw in a little flour for texture.”
* The unleaded gasoline price per gallon at the end of April was $2.56.
* The swimming pool has water in it! I am not sure who is more excited for the pool to open, the grandkids, my daughter or me!
* It makes me so proud to say that when he was asked what he wanted to be when he grew up, my sweet grandson said he wanted to be a police officer.
* Disneyland finally opened back up after being closed for over a year! I don’t know what happened, but someone, and I am not mentioning any names Mickey, forgot to send me a formal invitation to the grand re-opening!
* I know summer is coming with the swimming pool calling my name, and I do love my peonies and spring flowers, but just so you know, I have been ready for fall since last fall.
* This describes my wardrobe….“I will stop wearing black when they invent a darker color.”
* I know people love to go camping and enjoy the outdoors for their vacations, but my idea of a vacation includes motel/hotel rooms with queen-sized beds, maid service, a spectacular view, Continental Breakfasts, indoor or outdoor swimming pools and air conditioning. My favorite hotels are in Disneyworld or a cabin on a cruise ship.
* Rebecca, THANK YOU SO MUCH for the Disney Movie Trivia game. I love playing board games with my grandkiddos and this is another fun one to add to my collection!
* Tim Tebow is back in the NFL as a tight end for the Jacksonville Jaguars. I am all for it.
* We should take some pointers from the HGTV series “Hometown Takeover,” on how to revitalize our town!
* Was watching an old TV episode of “Supernatural” with the setting in Kansas. Two of the characters were on Interstate 135 north of Wichita and were headed to Lebanon!
