* I like the “Left” Twix candy bar the best.
* At one time in the running of this year’s Kentucky Derby, Tessa, Trent and my horses were in first, second and third place! Wish that would have been how they finished. Although my sister, who loves the number 21, picked the winner!
* Why would anybody be crazy enough to let someone wear Marilyn Monroe’s iconic dress? And I can’t believe the person they chose to wear it! No comparison in any way, shape or form. And Bob Mackie, who drew the original sketch of the Jean Louis gown said it was a HORRIBLE MISTAKE to let anyone wear it since it was made especially for Marilyn.
* I read where Joe Biden’s economic report card fell from an A- to a B. First off that is WAY TOO HIGH. Maybe someone did the old pencil trick of changing the F into a B?
* FINALLY!! The Nova Theatre will be showing TOP GUN: MAVERICK this weekend!!! I suggest you find the TOP GUN movie on TV to brush up on all your call signs before this sequel comes to the big screen. “I feel the need—the need for speed!”
* Loved the Motion Dance recital. The dancers gave awesome performances!
* Love this sign…..“I love you. You’re probably thinking, ‘You don’t even know me,’ but if people can hate for no reason, I can LOVE.”
* The Nova Theatre has been selling popcorn buckets. The first bunch was from the movie “Sing 2.” The second bunch are from “Top Gun: Maverick.” These are limited items and are fun to collect. AND they are recyclable. Bring them back anytime and get a refill for the large popcorn price, or make it part of your large or extra large combo! Great savings and great popcorn!
* It’s Summertime! Grow a garden, catch fireflies, go fishing, watch a drive-in movie, play cornhole or horsehoes, go berry picking, pick wildflowers, build a tree fort, have a nighttime picnic, blow dandelion puffs, make ice cream, jump in mud puddles, go garage saling, make s’mores, get sno cones, play in the sprinklers, sleep in a tent, and go snipe hunting!
