Roger Marshall waded into the culture wars on Wednesday, May 4th and demanded changes to television ratings so parents could shield their children from LGBTQ representation in shows. Marshall was the lead author HYPERLINK "https://www.marshall.senate.gov/wp-content/uploads/2022-05-04-TV-Parental-Guidelines-Monitoring-Board-Final.pdf" \t "_blank" on a letter to the TV Parental Guidelines Advisory Board asking them to update its ratings to inform parents whether a show contains content related to sexual orientation or gender identity.”

She sent along a note to movie producers to use it as a model for Ashley Wilkes’ home in the feature film.” (I would dearly love to have the money to purchase this home so I could dress up like Scarlett O’Hara in that fabulous green dress with dozens of silk petticoats and that lovely straw hat, just so I could run down the steps of the mansion and have me some barbeque.)
