This ‘n That
* I will say this because it needs to be said: If Frodo didn’t have his faithful friend, Samwise Gamgee, by his side, I am positive he would have kept that ring.
* With the passing of Val Kilmer, I have to say this one hit me hard. While others remember him best in “Top Gun,” and “Batman,” he will forever be Madmartigan in “Willow” for me.
* Some of the big summer movies coming out are “Lilo & Stitch,” “Freakier Friday,” “Superman,” “The Fantastic Four,” “How To Train Your Dragon,” “Thunderbolts,” “Mission Impossible—The Final Reckoning,” and “Jurassic World: Rebirth.” I, myself, am waiting for “Karate Kid: “Legends” this May and next year’s movie “Highlander” with Henry Cavill. There can be only one!
* I read that actor/singer/teenage heartthrob Bobby Sherman is fighting colon cancer. Praying he gets better. Going back a few decades, I loved him as Jeremy on the TV series “Here Come The Brides.” I have some of his 45s, including “Easy Come/Easy Go.”

* If you think about it, the Brady Bunch had access to Zoom in the 1970s.
* I just watched an episode of “Little House On The Prairie.” The Ingalls went to church, and while walking in to take their seats, I noticed no one was holding their youngest child, Grace. I wonder if they forgot her in the wagon? Ha!
* If you are riding a horse at full speed with a giraffe next to you and a lion chasing you, I suggest you get off the Merry-Go-Round.
* Have you ever done this? You forgot your password on an account, so you create a new password for it, only for the computer to say, “New password can’t be the old password.”
* Here is one for you. The boat used as the S. S. Minnow in “Gilligan’s Island,” was a 1964 Wheeler with a cruising speed of 12 knots, which means they couldn’t have traveled more than 41.5 miles. Now I am starting to doubt if the show was even real.
* Would you rather time travel to the past or the future?
