This ‘n That

* All that is necessary for the triumph of evil is that good men do nothing.

* I am done with Disney. There are many reasons why, but I will just give you one, that of course, has to do with money. Research it and you will find out that the movies Disney releases in the United States are a very different version from those same movies they release in other countries. A lot of their movies have been boycotted around the world or had to have subject matter taken out before they were shown due to the personal and political views of that country. Check out the two that are to be released this summer, “Buzz Lightyear” and “Thor: Love and Thunder.” Scenes were put in specifically/intentionally for the United States, while those same scenes were cut from the foreign releases.

* Hope you all had fun hanging with your peeps during the Easter Weekend. I enjoyed my kiddos, chocolates and red jellybeans.

* There will be those that get this and those that do not….“Roses are red, April is gray, And in a few days, It’s gonna be May!

* I loved watching the kids play soccer this month, and now I am ready for softball season! But if you want to know the truth, what I am really excited for, is Swim Team!

* I have been watching the TV series, “Beyond the Edge.” The premise of the series is ten “celebrities” are out in the jungle and form teams and work together each day on a physical and mental challenge to earn money for their charities. Each person has to take his or her turn at being captain for the challenge, which usually involves a lot of teamwork, running, swimming or rowing, and putting a puzzle together. I like it because they are working together and are constantly building each other up, praising their successes and being there for each other when needed. It makes you feel good to watch a positive show.

* Had someone ask me why there isn’t an Easter Egg Hunt for adults. So I am throwing it out there to be considered for next year.
