* A great big “Thank You” to everyone who helped clean off driveways and sidewalks around town after the snowstorm. It was greatly appreciated!

* Who remembers going out in your backyard on a hot summer day to “lay out.” Essentials were a boom box tuned into your favorite radio station, lots of baby oil and Sun In sprayed in your hair!

* Remember this Spring that God loves you. You will know because He will be sending you reminders in the form of dozens of flowers and sunshine, and warm rainy afternoons.

* There are only a select few people who will get this… .“I don’t always whoop, but when I do, there it is!”

* Never ask a Walmart employee where the VHS tapes are. They will take you to the duct tape and masking tape aisle.

* It’s getting time for outdoor fun and I think I have written down this bubble recipe before, but here it is again. Bubble solution: Mix together twelve cups of water, one cup of dish soap, one cup of corn starch, and two tablespoons of baking power.

* Here is another saying only a few will get….“The urge to sing ‘The Lion Sleeps Tonight’ is always just a whim away, a whim away, a whim away, a whim away.”

* Anybody still fly kites in March? Or any time?

* I recently watched a lady being interviewed, and she said she liked the saying that started out “We hold these truths to be self evident…..” She said it came from the musical, “Hamilton.” PEOPLE, read up on your history!!! No wonder our nation is in such a mess.

* I am ready for the Stockton Rec soccer season! Let the games begin!

* I hope everyone had a great Spring Break! I know I did.

* A little over a year ago I started writing down every so often in my editorials how much a gallon of unleaded gas was. At the end of January 2021, a gallon of unleaded gas was $2.25. And at the beginning of January it was under $2.00!
