* Now that it is November, the pumpkin spice needs to move over to make a little room for fresh homemade apple pie.

* Here’s an update on my “Supernatural” TV series watching. I am on the third season. It’s fun to watch all those episodes again. And I need to clear this up for everyone. It’s Dean and Sam—not Sam and Dean. Dean is the older Winchester brother, and that’s how they should be addressed.

* Hope you are all having an unbeLEAFable November!

* Read this….“A young person asked me what a hoedown was and I told him it’s like a shindig, but more like a hootenanny. I could tell he was confused because his face went all cattywampus.

* The Nova Theatre will show “Ghostbusters: Afterlife” on opening weekend, and I am happy to tell you all that it is only showing in theatres! And if you are any kind of fan at all, you are already humming or singing the original “Ghostbusters” song. Ray Parker, Jr. wrote and sang the song with it reaching the No. 1 spot on billboard charts in August 1984. It was up for the Best Original Song at the 57th annual Academy Awards (when they were fun to watch), but lost out to Stevie Wonder’s “I Just Called to Say I Love You.” (Blah!) Anyway, I had to look up who sang “Ghostbusters” when Ray asked the question, “Who ya gonna call?” The actors who did it as a favor to director Ivan Reitman included Chevy Chase, Irene Cara, John Candy, Melissa Gilbert, Ollie E. Brown, Jeffrey Tambor, George Wendt, Al Franken, Danny DeVito, Carly Simon, Peter Falk and Teri Garr.

* And they called it “Puppy Love”…..Donny Osmond was on Celebrity Wheel of Fortune recently! Who remembers The Osmonds and all their great, upbeat songs from the 1970s? Some of my favorites are “One Bad Apple,” “Sweet and Innocent,” “Down By The Lazy River,” “Go Away Little Girl,” “Yo-Yo,” and “Crazy Horses.”

* Who rakes up the leaves in their yard just so they can jump into a big pile of them? That would be me!
