This ‘n That
THIS AND THAT
* The Stockton Pumpkin Patch is this weekend!! A Halloween event near and dear to my heart. This, and other community events could not be possible without the hard work of many volunteers helping out before, behind the scenes, and during these events to make them happen! So if you want to be involved in the community, contact the Stockton Area Chamber of Commerce! There are many things people can help with, like painting props before an event, working an hour or two at any of the events selling tickets, helping with the Christmas parade, selling peonies, selling chances, helping set up before or taking down after the event. It doesn’t take much if everyone works together to help make our community a great place to live!

* I was talking to someone recently who made the comment that he needed to have fun and travel before he settled down at his job and gets married. I told him to back that up a bit! I said he can have fun and travel throughout his life, not just while he is single! Every day is an adventure! Some of the biggest adventures are getting married and sharing special times with your wife or husband, having children and taking them on adventures and getting to see the world fresh and new through their eyes, having a job that you love or turning your passion into your job. I told him to always make time for just the two of them, always make time for his children, and remember to take time for just himself. Now that’s how you enjoy each day to the fullest! * A while ago I made up my mind I would watch the en
* A while ago I made up my mind I would watch the entire TV series of “ER,” from beginning to end. It took me a while, and even though I watched it in real time over the years, it was fun to watch my favorite episodes again; be surprised by a few things that I didn’t catch the first time around; and be amazed at how many up-and-coming actors and actresses were on the show. Well, now I have decided to watch the TV series, “Supernatural,” from beginning to end, all 15 seasons of it! I have watched it over the years, and I am looking forward to re-watching some of my favorite episodes. I don’t know how long this self-challenge will take me, but I have already begun watching Dean and Sam Winchester in Season 1 that first appeared on the screen in 2005! Their last episode aired last fall in 2020. Carry On!
