When did our world become so filled with hate that people celebrate the senseless murder of a man who put God first and was willing to engage in face-to-face debates, speaking his truth? I still struggle to comprehend that this horrendous act even happened.

Like each and every one of us, we most certainly won’t fully agree with what others say or do, but violence is never the answer.

Did I cry and do I mourn the passing of Charlie Kirk? Yes. And as the tears streamed down my face when I first heard the news, I realized I cried for myself, for his family and friends, and for their heartbreaking loss of a loved one—but not for him, because I believe he was welcomed into Heaven and into the arms of our Lord and Savior for fulfilling his purpose on this earth.

Some may say that his time here was too short and that he had much more to accomplish, but it is not our place to question God's plan. Instead, we should let faith guide us as we continue on with our lives, and stand up for our beliefs.
