Teacher: Back to school! Back to school! Where did summer go??

Student: Back to school! Back to school! I can’t believe it! NOOO!

Teacher: The classroom is ready. My plans are all set! Student: I’m not ready! Please don’t make me go back just yet.

Teacher: The desks are arranged for our first day of school.

Student: I’m not going, I refuse! I’m boycotting school! Teacher: I can’t wait to meet the new students in my class.

Student: New teacher! New classmates! I think I will pass.

Teacher: We’ll learn every day and study really hard.

Student: I’m truly and REALLY not ready to start!

Teacher: History, Math, Science, and more!

Student: I’m staying inside and locking the door.

Teacher: We’ll read lots of books and will write every day.

Student: I’ll hide under my bed, and there I will stay. Teacher: We’ll go on field trips and play games each week.

Student: Shh...I can’t make a sound, not even a squeak. Teacher: We’ll do heaps of work, but I’ll make sure it’s fun.

Student: If my mom comes and finds me, I’ll just have to run.

Teacher: Every kid will be smiling. We’ll be one big family.

Student: Uh oh! The bus is here, and Mom’s looking for me.

Teacher: Each day will be special, an adventure brand new. Student: Why doesn’t she understand my dislike for school?

Teacher: In less than an hour, our school year will start! Student: I don’t think she quite gets that I’m already smart.

Teacher: This year will be exceptional…just wait and see!

Student: What! If I stay home from school, I’ll have to do chores?

Teacher: I’m ready for our principal to open the doors! Student: Hey, bus driver, come back! Don’t leave without me!

Teacher: Here come the buses! What a good year this’ll be!
