Peggy Lynn Benedick

Peggy Lynn Benedick, 76, of Plainville, passed away on June 6, 2025, at Hays Medical Center in Hays.

She was born on March 17, 1949, in Missoula, Montana, to Alvin and Eileen (Butler) Benedick.

She spent most of her life in Plainville, where she was raised, and later graduated from Plainville High School in 1967. Following high school, Peggy pursued higher education and earned her bachelor's degree, which led to a fulfilling career as a Laboratory Technician. She held various roles over the years, consistently bringing diligence and care to her work.

Those who knew Peggy will remember her for her warmth, wit, and deep appreciation for good food. Whether it was a family meal or a sweet treat, Peggy found joy in sharing and savoring life's simple pleasures.

She was preceded in death by her parents, Alvin and Eileen Benedick.

A Funeral Service to celebrate Peggy's life will be held on Sunday, June 8, 2025, at 6:30 p.m., at the First Christian Church in Plainville. In a fitting tribute to her love of food and fellowship, the family invites all attendees to stay for cinnamon rolls following the service.
