Former Stockton resident Kayla Danielle Higle, age 29, of Salina, passed away July 12th, 2021.

She was born January 15th, 1992, in Hutchinson to Tony Higle and Leia Brooks. She was the mother of two handsome boys, Trenton Thompson, age 9, of Salina, and Taesyn Benoit, age 5, of Palco.

She loved sports, especially soccer as a child. She was a rough and rowdy tom-boy who loved animals—especially monkeys. She always said she would own one someday but never got the chance. She loved children from a young age and was so excited to have children of her own.

She was preceded in death by her grandparents, Myrle Brooks, Sunnie Brooks, Paul Higle and Laverna Liby; aunts/ uncle Lisa Carter, Keith Higle, Cynthia Duggan (Higle), and Glenda Bernhardt (Higle); and a nephew, Branton Hulsey.

She is survived by her two sons, Trenton and Taesyn; parents, Leia Brooks of Salina and Tony and Jerri Higle of Glasco; siblings, Cierra (Josh) Werber of Salina, Brittany Higle of Salina, Lisa Darnell of Glasco and Bobby Corber of Glasco; and many other aunts, uncles, cousins, nieces and nephews.
