Geraldine “Gerri” Wehrli, formerly of Stockton, Kansas, passed away on November 26, 2024, at the Phillips County Retirement Center in Phillipsburg, Kansas, at the age of 95.
She was born on November 8, 1929, to James “Jim” and Bonnie (Montgomery) Lantz in Claremore, Okla. She was married to John L. Wehrli on August 14, 1947, in Russell, Kansas. He passed away on September 4, 2018.
Gregory L. Overlease, 68, of Ness City, formerly of Stockton, Norton, and Dresden, passed away on Saturday, November 30, 2024.
He was born August 14, 1956, in Oberlin, Kansas, the son of Cecil and Ramona Overlease.
He graduated from Scott City High School in 1974, attended Vo-Tech school in Goodland, and studied carpentry. He was united in marriage to Annette Spresser on May 10, 1980, in Leoville. He worked in construction for 30 years, successfully owning and operating Overlease Construction.
