RUTHANN TULLIS

Ruthann Tullis, of Plainville, Kansas, passed away on April 13, 2020 at Hays Medical Center in Hays, Kansas, at the age of 53.

She was born on October 5, 1966 to James and Jacqueline (Liston) Tullis in Pontiac, Illinois. Ruthann grew up in Illinois until her family moved to Palco, where she graduated from Palco High school with the class of 1984. She then attended college at McPherson College and graduated with a Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting, Business, and Economics.

Following Ruthann’s graduation from college, she moved back to the Rooks County area to be with her family and worked in Hays. She ended her career as office manager of Hays Auto.

Ruthann is survived by her parents, James and Jacque Tullis of Plainville; siblings, Peggy (Scott) Abbott of Wayne City, IL, and Cathy Tullis-Park of Olney, IL; niece and nephew, Jacob Abbott and Gemma Tennyson; and great-nephew, Jesse Abbott.

She is preceded in death by her brother-in-law, David Park.

A private family service back in Illinois has been chosen.
