Nicodemus Celebration begins next Thursday, July 28th

The Nicodemus, KS 144th Emancipation Celebration is just a week away. The four-day event begins next Thursday, July 28th, 2022 with the final day being Sunday, July 31st.
Once again, plans are for the return of outdoor and virtual events in 2022.
This year's theme is "Our Rich History Leads to a New Promise." This will feature some of the traditional family-centered events such as the parade, food and textile vendors, 5K Run/Walk, Kid’s Corner, Fashion/Talent Show, music and much, much more.
The 2022 t-shirt, designed by Nicodemus descendant graphic artist Mr. Westley Gunn, can be purchased via their webpage. They are seeking vendors and craftsmen to join them again this year.

The health and safety of the community is a top priority, according to Tracey Bates with the Nicodemus Celebration. All local guidelines will be followed.
“We are thrilled to welcome everyone back this summer to celebrate our 144th year,” stated Bates.
