Our School

Do you know what Stockton Grade School students like most about their school? Many students reported that they enjoyed different subjects like P.E., art and music. Recess is also another favorite part of their day. However, many students gave other reasons.

Some students stated that math is what they like best about our school. They think the activities are fun. Some really enjoy joining in with Greg Tang when he teaches math lessons. Other students like the investigations in math class. Not all students agree that math is their favorite. Some students like science experiments and all of the activities in social studies, such as Ameritowne, YE and projects. Other students like reading and finding adventures in books.

Most students agree that their teachers are the best part of Stockton Grade School. “They are good at teaching us” and “They make learning fun” were some of the replies from several students. Our teachers also take the time to get to know us. The teachers are nice, treat us well and have good relationships with us.

We get to do a lot of different activities at Stockton Grade School; like DARE, author visits, Global Play Day and guests that come to read to us. Visiting with and having Miss Joan come to our school is another favorite.

We like the activities that we do in our Community Groups. We enjoy having a partner who lives at the Solomon Valley Manor to support. We like putting positive notes on each other's lockers. We also enjoy getting to learn with friends from other grade levels.

We actually like everything about our school, but these were a few of the main things we really enjoy. We also like seeing our friends each day.
