* I am going to take away some of the power of the pandemic by writing Covid-19 instead of capitalizing the entire word.

* That Christmas Crack toffee everyone loves is not just for Christmas! I read where you can make it for Valentine’s Day using red and pink sprinkles on the top, and change it up by swapping out the saltines with Ritz crackers! And maybe even add a little peanut butter!

* February 22nd, 2022 (2/22/22) lands on a Tuesday this year!

* Stockton PRIDE is looking for energetic volunteers to help with the events the organization hosts throughout the year. If anyone wants to lend a hand or wants to know more about what PRIDE is about, contact the City Office. I really enjoy the PRIDE in the Park held every Monday in July to help celebrate Parks and Recreation Month! The water balloon fights and the ice cream night were two of my favorites. So if you have some fun ideas and want to get involved, jump right in and be a part of PRIDE! There are other events held throughout the year, so you can be as involved as you want to be. Remember, many hands make light work, and if everyone does a small part, everybody benefits!

* I read this and have to agree….Betty White was 17 days from turning 100 years old, but she lived through more than 17 Leap Years, so those extra days count to me. She made it and then some!

* Give your kids the opportunity to excel by giving them boundaries, expectations, rules to follow, limits, rewards and consequences. They will rise to the challenge and exceed your expectations every time.

* Have any of you “Rose up, Gathered Round, Rocked this Place to the Ground; Burnt It Up, Went for Broke or Watched the Night Go up in Smoke? If you have, you know exactly what I am talking about.

Know the saying, “When life hands you lemons, make lemonade?” Well, hand those lemons back because you deserve chocolate! And lots of it!
