Two Rooks County farmers elected to grain commodity commissions

The Kansas Department of Agriculture has announced the result of the elections held for the state’s five grain commodity commissions—corn, grain sorghum, soybeans, sunflowers and wheat—in districts four, five and six in the central region of the state.

In District Four, Stephen Bigge of Rooks County, has been elected to the Kansas Grain Sorghum Commission.

Also in District Four, Michael McClellan of Rooks County had been elected to the Kansas Wheat Commission.
