Christmas Is Just Around The Corner!

* Everyone I know loves to watch the Hallmark Christmas movies, me included. But it wasn’t until this year that I made a discovery as to which ones are my favorite movies and why. Everyone I talk to about the older movies or the new movies that come out every year, always say they have certain actresses they like to watch. Well, hold on to your hats, because I told them that I watch the movies according to the actors that are starring in them. What a concept!

* Not gonna lie, I was disappointed in the Boy Band Christmas Special that aired a few weeks ago. Yes, I loved seeing a few of my favorite singers from the groups, but I was ready to listen to a lot of Christmas songs from them, not watch them sit by the fire and talk.

* Just throwing this out there because people need to know…Cookie Monster’s real name is Sidney, and chocolate chip cookies are his favorite.

* My kiddos and I decorated two gingerbread houses a week ago. One was a Christmas castle with snowmen, and the other was a barn complete with cookies shaped like a rooster, pig, cow and a lamb. This has become a tradition of ours and we love to pile on those sprinkles!

* I am finally going to admit it…I have never watched “A Christmas Story.” Sorry, Ralphie!

* If you drove by my house the other day, you would have seen me outside watering my flower garden. With this unseasonably warm weather some of my flowers are still going strong, so I thought I would help them out with a little drink of water.

* With Christmas just around the corner, I am watching all of my favorite Christmas movies starting with my number one, “Rudolph, the Red-Nosed Reindeer.” I can’t remember if I mentioned this before, but I have the entire set of Rudolph ornaments that I put on display every year, as well as a Bumbles t-shirt. And let’s not forget a Charlie Brown Christmas!
