Karen McCune, a member of both the Daughters of the American Revolution and a local quilt club that presents veterans with their Quilt of Valor through the Quilt of Valor Program, recently received a Certificate of Appreciation for her presentation to the Fort Hays Chapter of the Sons of the American Revolution regarding the Quilt of Valor Program.

Garry Baxter, President of the Fort Hays Chapter of the Sons of the American Revolution, indicated that McCune provides a very good program about the Quilt of Valor Program. She is an outstanding leader in both the quilt club and the DAR Chapter and provides great support to the Fort Hays SAR Chapter. Bill Posson of Stuggart presented McCune with her certificate.
