President Karen McCune brought the meeting to order at 6:30 p.m. with great food provided by Linda Stamper and Janice Miller. Secretary Terrii Collins took Roll Call with some Show and Tell. Twenty-two members and one guest, Barb Henson, answered it.

Motion to approve the minutes as printed was by Stephanie Hart to accept and Kenda Ross seconding the motion. We had a thank you correspondence from Lynda Falley.

Treasurer’s Report was by Diane Maddy with no bills presented.

Plainville had six at their Sew Day and Stockton had four. Next Sew Days are November 10th in Plainville and November 13th in Stockton.

Under Old Business, Lynda Falley reported that Options in Hays would be willing to take five to six baby blankets. The Quilt t-shirt orders have been taken by Terrii Collins and we are now waiting on Liz Stamper to inform us when they are ready. The Boutique starts in October with items brought in by members to sell to the public in the Stitch and Chatter Quilt store. Set your price when you bring your item in for sale.

Under New Business, the election of officers will be held for president, vice-president, treasurer, and secretary with a twoyear term. Seriously consider trying out a term for any of the above.

The Opportunity Quilt for raising money for the Guild is currently on display at Farmers National Bank. Lynda Falley will pick it up and she will be in Hays at the Mall all day to sell tickets for the Quilt.

There was a reminder to bring in items to sell at the Boutique.

The drawing for door prize, which was brought in by Betty Bedore, was won by Terrii Collins. Jean Boyd won the Fat Quarters with Fall Theme. The November FQ theme is something you are thankful for.

Hosts for the November 15th meeting are Kenda Ross, Stephanie Hart and Jackie Wright.

Motion to adjourn the meeting was made by Linda Stamper and seconded by Stephanie Hart.—Sent in by secretary Terrii Collins
