This ‘n That
This And That
* Teens today walk into high school with iced coffees and Stanleys. Teens walked into the building years ago with vodka in their water bottles or just in the vodka bottle.
* Today is a good day to be proud of all the progress you are making.
* Due to inflation, the three second rule of eating something off of the floor after it has been dropped is now nine seconds.
* If you are in my car on a five-hour road trip, it is not a five-hour boring drive but a concert of ‘70s/’80s music with some ’90s boy bands thrown in that you get to listen to for free.
* Who does this? I wear the same black leggings or jeans and a sweatshirt for four or five days in a row, but if I am packing for a trip, I pack at least two outfits for each day, just in case.
* I don’t mean to brag, but after the recent rains, my yard was a particularly lovely shade of purple.
* All of my fitness goals are within reach. Unfortunately, so are the cookies, chips, and Cheetos.
* I am not saying I am old, but we made ashtrays for our parents in art class when I was in school.
* I shouldn’t have done it, but I did. The 911 TV series held a “Remembering Bobby Nash Marathon,” and I watched each and every episode of that marathon. Then I watched the episode where the other characters held his services. I am now officially done with that series.
* My music of choice for the past few weeks has been “The Beatles” and Michael Jackson/Jackson 5 tunes. PYT!
* When you watch those reels that ask you to pick one food per row, all I can say is they BETTER NOT put cheeseburgers, lasagna, and spaghetti in the same row!
* Only a few will get this. The last time I cracked an egg, a pair of pantyhose fell out.
