Rooks County School Districts’ Update—October 8, 2021

What are the essential elements of successful schools?  According to the National School Boards Association, the six elements of success are:

• Distributed Leadership

• Strong, Supported Teaching Force and Staff

• Relationship-Oriented School Climate

Rooks County School Districts are committed to offering elements that contribute to successful schools. We believe it is important to work together with our partners to make that happen. Please feel free to reach out to your district if you have any questions.

We currently have 10 active cases of COVID-19 in the county and two individuals in the hospital.  Rooks County has a two-week positivity rate of 15.5 % as of 10/02/2021.
