Jimmie Rae Kuhlmann passed away August 17, 2021, at the Good Samaritan in Hays, Kansas at the age of 75.

He was born on March 1, 1946, to Clarence and Geraldine (Prosser) Kuhlmann in Smith County, Kansas. Jimmie married Karen Wilson on April 4, 2002, in Texas. They were blessed with a daughter, Kristie.

Jimmie grew up in Athol, Kansas and graduated from Athol High School. After high school, he worked for Schultz Mobile Home in Plainville and then Allied in Russell, and last, Hahn Tire in Stockton.

Jimmie loved to fish—especially hand-fishing. He enjoyed playing cards and having a drink cruising the backroads.

He is survived by his wife, Karen, of the home in Stockton; a daughter, Kristie Patterson and granddaughter, Lily of Ontario, New York; and brothers, Bob (June) of Osborne, Larry (Pat) of Stockton, and Dennis (Sherry) of Goddard.

He is preceded in death by his parents and infant brother, Jackie Kuhlmann.

A Memorial Service was held on Monday, August 23, 2021 at 10:00 a.m. at the funeral home in Stockton. A private family inurnment will be held at the Greenwood Cemetery in Seward, NE.
