The Stockton Fire Department was called out at 3:00 p.m. to 13 and R Road on Friday, July 9th when some wheat stubble caught on fire. A malfunction on one of the machines caused some sparks, which set the field on fire. The damage was contained to one acre with very little uncut wheat destroyed. ...
