Howell is MCEL Champion

STOCKTON JUNIOR HIGH WRESTLER, HUNTER HOWELL, a 7th grader, brought home the Championship at the MCEL Wrestling Tournament held Thursday, February 20th, at Ellis. Howell not only won first place, but how he did it was even more impressive. Howell won all five of his matches with pins—the first four nearly 30 seconds into each match, and in the Championship match, pinning his opponent, Hunter Sisson of Phillipsburg in the second period. Hunter concluded this season by not only winning a championship but also going unbeaten on the season.
