I am very pleased with how well you and Susan took care of putting the article about little Ella Grace in the Sentinel.

Thanks again for doing this. Little Ella and her family will appreciate this very much!

The check is in the mail, so you should be getting it this coming week.

We are having a HEAT WAVE with triple digits and when we got up this morning, our A/C wasn’t working!!

Guess we aren’t the only ones experiencing this problem unless someone cancels an appointment (now who do you think would do that in a time like this?). Someone will be here a week from today!! I’m sure glad that we have a “cool” basement, as that is where we have spent most of the day and will sleep in the basement bedroom for now!

Makes me think of good ‘ole Kansas, when I often wonder how I ever survived that humid, sticky heat, especially when I was pregnant with both of our children and had swollen feet!!

Records are being broken for our state of Washington! Even Oregon and California are feeling it.

At least I hear that some parts in Kansas are getting some rain. Unfortunately, we are experiencing some of those awful fires and not getting any rain.
