Event to be held in high school auditorium

The 2021 Stockton High School Graduating Class will receive their diplomas this Saturday, May 8th at 3:00 p.m. in the high school auditorium. The event will begin with the Processional of the graduates with superintendent Bill Lowry to give the Welcome. Next Mr. Scott Bennett will introduce the Salutatorian and Valedictorian, who will then give their speeches to the audience consisting of family, friends and classmates.

After the speeches are made, a Senior Video will be shown highlighting the young ladies and gentlemen before the SHS choir performs the song “Take My Home.”

A special presentation is planned by the Class of 2021 to the song, “Don’t Blink” by Kenny Chesney, before senior class president Logan Winklepleck introduces the guest speaker for the evening, Mrs. Michelle Towery. School board members Mrs. Linda Conyac and Mrs. Daphne Plumer will then present the diplomas to the class. After high school principal Mr. Gary McCown presents the 2021 graduates to the audience, they will leave the auditorium for the last time as a class to the song, “Hey Look Ma I Made It” by Panic at the Disco.

Disco. The seniors have chosen blue and silver as their class colors, and silver-tipped blue roses as their class flower. Their motto is “Love Life, Live Life.” Junior escorts are Kyra Gottfreid and Rylan Basart. Ushers are Olivia Dix, Maddy Moffet, Camden Iwanski and GarryWayne Moore.
