Rooks County continues to see a decrease in new COVID-19 cases throughout the county. This week, the absenteeism rate is at 0.3% above the baseline from 2019-2020. The positive testing rate is at 9.3% this week. Rooks County continues to receive weekly allocations of the COVID-19 vaccine and will follow the Kansas Vaccination Phases. If you are interested in getting on the list to receive the COVID-19 vaccine, please call  the health department or your primary care physician. 

School districts will continue in-person for the week of March 15-19, 2021. If there is any adjustment required to the learning setting due to concerns in the schools, we will update your family quickly following a decision.  Thank you for everything you are doing to keep our students in school and our community in a healthy place.
