* With Easter just around the corner, and the price of eggs still a little high, I will do my part and just eat caramel Cadbury eggs this year.

* Jumping rope should be an Olympic sport. If you want to know why I will advocate for this, look up Dayan Kolev’s jump roping videos. You can thank me later.

* I recently read this, and I have to agree. “All I am saying is that at any point during that ride through the desert… he could have given that horse a name.” You have to be a certain age to get this one!

* Read this and had to pass it along…My electricity bill just came today, and I believe I got charged for the sunlight, the moonlight, the street light, the starlight, the Light of the Holy Spirit, and the light at the end of the tunnel.

* Would you rather have a pet dragon or a pet unicorn? I am going with a unicorn, okay, two unicorns, especially if they look like the unicorns in the 1985 movie “Legend,” starring Tom Cruise.

* Loved the Karate Kid movies with Ralph Macchio. I am looking forward to the new one coming out this spring entitled “Karate Kid: Legends” with Ralph Macchio, Jackie Chan, Ben Wang, Pat Morita, and Joshua Jackson. No Jaden Smith for me.

* What are your three favorite cupcakes? Mine are chocolate with chocolate frosting, vanilla with vanilla frosting, and carrot with cream cheese frosting.

* For the few people who might not know this, and I can’t believe some people don’t, Cristiano Ronaldo turned 40 on February 5th. And just so you are prepared ahead of time, Russell Crowe’s 60th birthday is April 7th. Some of my favorite Russell Crowe movies are “Gladiator” (yes, I have the extended version), “A Beautiful Mind,” “Robin Hood,” “Cinderella Man,” “L.A. Confidential,” “The Quick and the Dead,” “The Mummy,” and “3:10 to Yuma.”

* Getting out of bed in the mornings would be a million times better if there was a beach and 80° weather waiting outside.
