Happy Thursday, for me, and Happy Whatever Day you are reading this. I pray everyone had a wonderful Christmas. While I'm writing this, Christmas has not yet come. But I know we will have a great time with my family this year and with my husband's family after Christmas when we get back to Woodston.

Have any of you been sick in the last few weeks? Oh boy, I sure have. I was sick one day a few weeks back and the entire week, last week. I was home with a fever, sinus infection, and overall body aches. It was terrible! I pray none of you have been sick and if you have been, I pray for quick healing.

I love Christmas. I love the decorations and the gifts. I love seeing the smiles on people's faces when they open their gifts. I love the matching Christmas pajamas.Mr.McReynolds and I will have matching PJs this year. His are Christmas-themed footed pajamas, and I have a matching gown. That is a tradition that my family does, and I love having a husband to match with this year. I just love everything about Christmas. But what is Christmas really for? Is it for the decorations inside and outside? Is it for the gifts we give and receive? Is it for the matching PJs? All of those things are so much fun. But that's not what Christmas is all about. It's about Jesus. He is the only reason for this season. I want to make sure that I am representing Him with the life I live. During the Christmas season and every other day of the year. There are so many hurting souls in this world and Christians need to be the balm to soothe their pain. I am not ashamed of my relationship with God. I can't afford to be ashamed. There are too many people that need to hear about His plan for their lives. Isn't it just like God to put the hurt and lost right in our path? Isn't it just like Him to give us a new direction to walk because one of His hurting children needs us to help them? That's what He does. We need to make sure we are listening to that familiar sound of God's voice so we know who needs our love. As a young Christian, I was scared to tell folks about Jesus. But, as a middle- aged Christian, I am no longer afraid to tell others about the goodness of God, and you shouldn't be scared, either.

Always remember to put God first and every piece of your puzzle will fit perfectly together. Mine did, and yours will, too! Merry Christmas to you and yours.

Here is a quick and easy dessert for you to try. I have made this many times and may or may not have eaten the entire cake by myself in less than two days. True story. Don't judge me, please.

14.4 oz box of graham crackers 2-3.4 oz. Packages of instant vanilla pudding 3 cups of milk 1-8oz tub of whipped cream 1-16oz can of chocolate frosting In a large mixing bowl, mix the instant pudding and the milk together. Let it sit until the pudding firms up—roughly 3 – 5 minutes.

Then, gently fold in the whipped cream.

Lightly spray a 9 x 13-inch glass pan with nonstick cooking spray. Place a layer of whole graham crackers on the bottom of the pan. You may need to break some graham crackers apart to cover the entire bottom of the pan.

Spread half of the pudding mixture on top of the crackers. Layer another layer of graham crackers over the pudding mixture. Then layer the other half of the pudding mixture on top of the crackers. Finally, top with a last layer of graham crackers.

When using the storebought frosting, remove the lid and foil liner. Place in the microwave for about 10-12 seconds. Give it a good stir and it will be a lot easier to spread over your eclair cake. Spread chocolate frosting across the entire cake and place in refrigerator for 4 to 6 hours.

Slice into 12 pieces and serve cold. Store any leftovers in the refrigerator! The graham crackers will soften up the longer it sets, which gives it the soft eclair taste.
