City water distribution plant experiencing a mechanical issue

Have you noticed a discoloration and/or cloudiness in the City’s water supply?

The City of Stockton wants all its water customers to know the water distribution plant is currently experiencing a mechanical issue due to a broken bearing.

The City assures residents that the water is being closely monitored and remains safe.

The team is working diligently to backwash and flush the water until it can be restored to its normal operation.

Stockton City Manager Kayla Hilbrink states if anyone has any concerns or questions to please reach out to the City directly at 785425-6703.

The City apologizes for any inconvenience this may cause and appreciates your patience as they work to repair the water plant.
