A century and a half of faith, service and community will be celebrated this summer as First Congregational Church in Stockton marks its 150th anniversary.

The church will host a special anniversary celebration on Sunday, August 9, beginning with a worship service at 10 a.m., followed by a luncheon for all those in attendance. The congregation invites current and former members, friends of the church and the community to join in commemorating this significant milestone.

Leading the anniversary service will be Chance McKinney, with Lance Latham serving as pianist.

For 150 years, First Congregational Church has been a place of worship, fellowship and service in Stockton, touching the lives of generations of families through baptisms, weddings, funerals and countless community gatherings. The anniversary celebration offers an opportunity to reflect on the church's rich history while looking forward to its continued ministry in the years ahead.
